The 3 R's

 

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle – these three 'R' words are an important part of sustainable living, as they help to cut down on the amount of waste we have to throw away.

It's Really simple!

1.    Reduce the amount of waste you produce.

2.    Reuse items as much as you can before replacing them.

3.    Recycle items wherever possible.

11th and 10th grade students share their ideas to help the environment and REDUCE, REUSE AND RECYCLE...

Juliana Blanco and Sherillyn Ternera taught us to recycle old newspapers and all tests and reuse them to make brand new sheets of paper!

    

Sebastián Cárcamo and Freddy Mercado bet on recycle plastic bottles and turn them into toys for the kids! 

 

Saray Hernández and Nestor Pacheco taught us to recycle and reuse plastic containers to grow plants and to recycle water! 

 

Alexandra Reales and Fiorella Blanco taught us to REUSE & DECORATE! Objets and containers we use in our daily life can have a new purpose.  Use the cardboard tube from the toilet paper and turn it into a nice pencil holder, or use those old CDs and turn them into a cool curtain!
